1915Çanakkale Bridge Catwalk Is Completed, Erection Of Main Cables Will Begin Soon
The construction of the catwalk, which constitutes a critical phase of 1915Çanakkale Bridge, is completed and the silhouette of the bridge is revealed.
The 4330-meter-long catwalk of the 1915Çanakkale Bridge has been completed. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu has become the first to walk on the catwalk. The catwalk stretching between the two continents will be used as a working platform for erection of the main cables. In the upcoming stages of bridge construction, erection of the main cables and suspension cables will be commenced.
