The First Pile Was Driven Into The Seabed
At the Tower Foundation Concrete and Tower Piling Ceremony held in Çanakkale with the attendance of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the bridge tower foundation concrete was casted.
The first pile was driven into the seabed upon which the tower foundations will be located.
In his speech at the 1915Çanakkale Bridge and Malkara-Çanakkale Motorway Tower Foundation Concrete and Tower Pilinge Ceremony, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced: “As a result of our discussions, we will open the bridge for service on the 18th of March 2022, as completing the Project 18 months in advance.”
