The Piers of the 1915Çanakkale Bridge Have Been Completed
Due to be known as the world’s longest mid-span suspension bridge when completed, the 1915Çanakkale Bridge’s piers have been completed with the erection of the final tower blocks.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended via video-conferencing the 1915Çanakkale Bridge Tower Construction Completion Ceremony which took place on May 16, 2020 and was briefed about the latest developments in the Project by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu.
