Towing Operation From The Dry Dock To The Wet Dock
Another important phase of the 1915Çanakkale Project has been completed with success.
Planned to be opened on the 18th of March 2022, towing operations of 1915Çanakkale Bridge caissons were carried out from the dry dock to the wet dock. The ceremony to honor the towing out operation of the caisson foundations from the dry dock to the wet dock was attended by the President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Binali Yıldırım, and Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Mehmet Cahit Turhan. After the completion of the works on the two caissons in the wet dock, they will be placed on the inclusion piles driven into the seabed, bringing the foundation of the bridge to its completion.
